After promising in April they would do two New Zealand shows in December, AC/DC has finalized dates and venues.

The Rock Or Bust tour lands at Westpac Stadium in Wellington Dec. 12 and Western Springs Stadium in Auckland (Dec. 15).

On their last visit in 2010, the band played to 60,000 over two nights.

Drummer Chris Slade, who stepped in for New Zealand-based Phil Rudd for the album and tour, will be behind the kit when the band roars into New Zealand. Of late Rudd has told local TV he has approached the band about regaining his job but complained he had no reply.

In an interview with the NZ Herald, co-promoter Garry Van Egmond emphasized, “Chris Slade will be on drums.” He added there is “no confirmation that Phil has left the band permanently: All I can say is that Phil will not be playing the New Zealand concerts.”

Rudd was arrested in November 2014 on charges of threatening to kill and drugs possession. He faces a jail sentence of up to seven years when he is sentenced. This was to take place June 26 but a judge agreed to a two-week postponement to July 9.
