Robert Plant In September
Plant and his band of incredibly talented musicians are touring in support of lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roarr, which was released in September. The band is made up of Justin Adams (bendirs, djembe, guitars, tehardant, background vocals), John Baggott (keyboards, loops, moog bass, piano, tabal, background vocals), Juldeh Camara (kologo, ritti, Fulani vocals), billy Fuller (bass, drum programming, omnichord, upright bass), Dave Smith (drum set) and Liam “Skin” Tyson (banjo, guitar, background vocals).
“The whole impetus of my life as a singer has to be driven by a good brotherhood,” Plant said. “I am very lucky to work with The Sensational Space Shifters. They come from exciting areas of contemporary music.”
Three of the shows on the September routing are new dates for gigs that were originally scheduled to take place earlier this month. That is, until a bout with laryngitis forced the former Led Zeppelin frontman to postpone concerts in the Toronto, Chicago and Detroit markets. Tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored on the newly assigned nights. Here’s the plan:
Sept. 10 – Rochester, Mich., Meadow Brook Music Festival
Sept. 12 – Arrington, Va., Oak Ridge Farm (Lockn’ – Interlocking Music Festival)
Sept. 13 – Arrington, Va., Oak Ridge Farm (Lockn’ – Interlocking Music Festival)
Sept. 15 – Toronto, Ontario, Molson Canadian Amphitheatre
