New Music & Dates From Eagles Of Death Metal

After seven long years, Eagles Of Death Metal will deliver the long-awaited follow-up to Heart On. Plus, the guys have new tour dates booked through December. An announcement from the act’s PR rep declares, “EODM is back and ready to rumble!”

Zipper Down is due out Oct. 2 via T-Boy/Ume                    

Jesse Hughes (aka Boots Electric) says the LP “really represents to me an attitude and philosophy of life,” Jesse Hughes says. “One should not zipper up, they should zipper down and let it all hang out.”

Joshua Homme (aka Baby Duck) adds, “In an independent study, four out of three doctors say Zipper Down is an eargasm trapped inside a crazerbeam. And I believe them.”  

Preorders of Zipper Down come with an instant download of the single “Complexity,” which Homme says “is the musical equivalent of holding a lucky rabbit’s foot with the unlucky rabbit still attached.” Check out the tune below.

Eagles Of Death Metal are currently on the road in Europe. The new North American tour launches in August and runs through October. The fall European leg begins Oct. 31 in Leeds, England. With more dates to be announced, here’s how the late summer/fall schedule stands today:
