Shakey Graves has more dates lined up in support of 2014’s And the War Came. His fall excursion – “The Die Hard Tour” – follows appearances at Austin City Limits in early October.

And The War Came is up for Album Of The Year at the Americana Music Association Awards. Shakey has also been nominated for Emerging Artist of The Year and his tune “Dearly Departed” received a nod for Song of the Year.

The musician otherwise known as Alejandro Rose-Garcia spent last Sunday at Bonnaroo, rocking a set that MusicSnake.com named one of the top five final day performances.

“He had the tough task of being the first performer on Sunday, but his energy helped wake up the entire audience at Bonnaroo,” the site declared.

Shakey checked in with Facebook followers on his trip back home. He has 10 days off then he’ll return to the stage at KGSR Blues On The Green in Austin June 24.

“First and foremost I wanted to thank each and every friend, fan and fellow musician for continuing to come out and support Shakey Graves throughout this insane musical adventure that we are blessed to be on,” he said.

“As we drive back to Texas after wrapping up this last run I feel that this has been one of the most exciting, memorable, and unique tours we’ve been on to date.

“And just as soon as one chapter ends the next begins, so it is with great pleasure that I get to announce the dates of our fall tour which we fondly (and drunkenly) named THE DIE HARD TOUR.”

Before the tour kicks off, Shakey has a few support gigs with The Avett Brothers and more than a dozen festival appearances including RBC Bluesfest, Newport Folk, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands.
