Lacking Charges, Court Scraps Bail Bond On Flavor Flav

The bond was removed Monday morning at a hearing attended by a legal representative for Flavor Flav. The performer’s legal name is William Drayton Jr.

Bonds can be scrapped if charges aren’t filed within 30 days. Drayton has not been charged yet.

An aide for District Attorney Steven Wolfson says the office is waiting for the results of blood tests.

Drayton was pulled over on a freeway on-ramp near McCarran International Airport for traveling 73 mph in a 45 mph zone, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Drayton’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 22.
