The act tweeted May 11, “I’ll release a Wavves record in June, and August.” Following the tour announcement this week, a fan asked the band about the status of the releases. Wavves replied, “Sticking with my promise. One in June. And one in August.”

Pitchfork points out that one of the new LPs could be Wavves’ collaborative album with Cloud Nothings. In March, Wavves revealed on social media that the joint effort was called No Life For Me. All tracks were written by Wavves frontman Nathan Williams and Cloud Nothings’ Dylan Baldi, with the exception of “Such A Drag,” which was penned solely by Williams. Life For Me was recorded and produced by Sweet Valley at Williams’ home in Los Angeles in March 2014. Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij appears on guitar on the track “I Find.”
