Huey Lewis + Melissa Etheridge + REO Speedwagon

While the U.S. freezes in January, dreaming of sugar-plums and tropical getaways, New Zealand will be soaking up the warm temperatures and enjoying the annual Summer Concert Tour. The 2016 edition features Huey Lewis And The News, Melissa Etheridge and REO Speedwagon.

As an announcement from Green Stone Entertainment points out, this is “a can’t miss opportunity for lovers of classic rock to get their latest fix!”

Before heading Downunder to headline the New Zealand outing, Huey Lewis And The News has a scheduled filled through September with headline gigs, appearances with Jimmy Buffett, and sets at festivals and state fairs.

REO Speedwagon also has plenty of U.S. dates to keep it busy for the rest of 2015, along with a few nights with Boston.

As for Etheridge, she’s got her own headline dates in the U.S. and Euruope, in addition to a run of summer gigs with Blondie.
