Southaven Arena Rent Reduction

Southaven, Miss., aldermen temporarily reduced the rental and deposit of the city-owned Southaven Arena from $3,000 a day to $1,500.

The aldermen also reduced the deposit for single-use tenants from $3,000 to $750. Mayor Darren Musselwhite told aldermen it will help tenants deal with disruptions caused by construction of an emergency shelter on arena property.
