Megadeth & Lamb Of God Announce Co-Bill

The U.K. should prepare itself for one really loud week this fall because Megadeth and Lamb Of God are teaming up for a brief outing that’s guaranteed to make a whole bunch of noise.

Both acts have new albums coming out this year. Lamb Of God’s eighth studio album, VII: Sturm und Drang, is due out July 24, marking the band’s first LP since Randy Blythe’s manslaughter case. The singer, who was accused of pushing a 19-year-old fan from a stage during a 2010 concert, was acquitted by Prague’s Municipal Court in March 2013.

Megadeth is raising funds for its 15th studio album via PledgeMusic. The band’s most recent release was 2013’s Super Collider. While some AccessPass packages have already sold out – like a two-hour songwriting session with Dave Mustaine, fans can still support the album by pre-ordering the album or purchasing remaining AccessPass goodies, including a signed pair of drum sticks or a voicemail greeting by Chris Adler.
