New Name For Chicago Shed

Live Nation has announced a naming rights partner for Chicago’s First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, which will now go by the name Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.

It is a “multi-year” contract; further details were not disclosed. It is the second Live Nation venue to get this name; Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre near St. Louis was dubbed Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in November.

Hollywood Casino Aurora is located in the western suburbs of Chicago, and Penn National Gaming’s Hollywood Casino Joliet is located 45 minutes southwest of the city.

The 28,630-capacity shed, celebrating its 25th anniversary, has a summer lineup that includes Van Halen, Kid Rock, Tim McGraw and Ed Sheeran.
