Evanescence Returns To The Road

Evanescence is warming up for its appearance at Ozzfest Japan with a handful of U.S. gigs. The quick November trip represents the band’s first performances in three years.

Amy Lee & Co. last toured the U.S. in summer 2012 as part of the “Carnival Of Madness” package with Chevelle, Halestorm, New Medicine and Cavo.

“You know, we’re already playing Japan, and it seems like a waste to do all that practicing for just one show…. So to finally answer the question many of you have been asking since the Ozzfest announcement, YES. We’re adding 3 US dates in November!” Evanescence posted on Facebook this morning, adding, “Can’t wait to see you there!”

The new U.S. dates are scheduled Nov. 13 at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works, Nov. 15 at Dallas’ South Side Ballroom and Nov. 17 at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern.

The rock band join Ozzy and friends in Chiba, Japan, Nov. 21.

A fan presale for the U.S. dates begins Wednesday, July 22. Live Nation is hosting its own presale Thursday, July 23. General onsales for Nashville and Los Angeles are scheduled Friday, July 24. Dallas’ general onsale starts Saturday, July 25.
