The Reign Of Acid King

It’s been almost a decade since Acid King last toured the U.S. Now the stoner metal band from San Francisco is making up for its absence with a fall excursion beginning in San Diego and featuring stops in Austin, Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia and Denver.  Tickets go on sale later this week.

The band has new music to go along with its journey.  The band’s first disc in a decade – Middle Of Nowhere, Center Of Everywhere – arrived in April.  Outburn Magazine rated it a perfect 10 and described the music as “six of the most haunting, memorable stoner rock tunes in some time.”  ArtistDirect was also taken by the record with reviewer Rick Florino calling it “a downright perfect album.”

Acid King founder/frontwoman Lori S. is excited about the band’s upcoming U.S. adventure.

“After touring Europe for the past several years we’re looking forward to traveling across the U.S. and seeing if the beer has gotten any better along the way!”
