The venue, which at one time hosted shows by Jimi Hendrix, Paul Simon, and Bob Dylan, has remained popular and more recently has hosted Adele and .

Current owners Simon and Susie Thornhill say they have struggled to make the venue work amid mounting costs and noise complaints from neighbors in 2012 forced them to close the popular garden area after 9 p.m.

The Earls Court venue is now on the market through Christie & Co with a guide price of only £225,000, although it also carries a ground rent of more than £150,000 a year. It is now hoped a buyer will come in within the next few weeks who will keep the venue open, which still hosts live music five nights a week.
