Bring Me The Horizon On The Road

Bring Me The Horizon has been busy this week, announcing the routing for a fall U.S. tour and releasing a video for the latest track from its upcoming album.

Marking the British band’s fifth studio album, That’s The Spirit is due out Sept. 11. A feature from Rolling Stone notes that some fans may be surprised by the band’s new sound.

The magazine declares that the album “sounds more Muse and Linkin Park than Metallica and Lamb of God. Vocalist Oli Sykes sings on most of it instead of shouting as in the past, and the band follows suit with a layered, textural sound full of ebb-and-flow dynamics inspired by indie rock, alternative music and pop.”

The band recorded the LP at Black Rock Studios in Santorini, Greece, after searching online for “most amazing recording studios in the world.”

Here’s the video for the single “Throne.”

After supporting A Day To Remember last year, Bring Me The Horizon returns to the States in October. But first the group will play England’s Reading and Leeds in August.
