AEG Goes Gulf Coast
“We are excited to be expanding our business activities in the Gulf Coast region through this new association with Winter Circle Productions and Dante and Reeves,” said AEG COO Shawn Trell. “With our growing presence in the region’s music scene through our touring business as well as our partnership with the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and Hangout Music Festival, it made perfect sense to further expand our regional booking presence while adding a home base for us in New Orleans.”
Under the terms of the agreement the WCP team, founded in 2009 by Reeves Price and Dante DiPasquale, will continue to operate out of the city. Price has been named VP of operations and DiPasquale will serve as VP of talent, splitting time between New Orleans and New York.
Other additions to the team include Addie Olsen as administrative, marketing director and festival director of the BUKU Music + Art Project, and Shelby Woolf as marketing and ticketing manager.
The deal also gives AEG a portion of WCP’s interest in BUKU, which is co-produced by HUKA Entertainment. Goldenvoice will act as a strategic partner.
