Call Me Malaysia
Last week MTV revealed that Carly Rae Jepsen will headline the MTV World Stage Malaysia 2015 event Sept. 12 at Surf Beach in Kuala Lumpur.

It will be the first time Jepsen has performed in Malaysia. The concert, which brings together “multi-genre” artists, is recorded live for subsequent global telecast. It is considered one of the biggest musical events of the year in Southeast Asia.
Other artists slated include South Korea’s female vocal group Apink and Japanese band Sekai no Owari. More acts will be announced in the next few weeks. The show is supported by Tourism Malaysia and will be broadcast on MTV in Asia Sept. 26.
