A Healthier Aramark

Aramark is teaming up with the American Heart Association to create healthier foods for its clients.

The company has pledged to cut fat and sodium by 20 percent by 2020 and boost the amounts of fruits, vegetables and whole grains in its meals by the same amount during that time.

New menu items will be offered and stadium food and other “indulgent” options will be tweaked. Aramark expects its produce use to climb from 200 million pounds per year to 240 million pounds.
