Saratoga PAC Lawn Woes

Large sections are down to bare dirt again as the amphitheater enters the last month of its 2015 season. It has become an annual problem at SPAC as many concertgoers prefer to sit on folding chairs or blankets on the lawn.

The grass takes a beating from the thousands of fans who attend the country and rock concerts, resulting in large areas of bare dirt as the season progresses.

SPAC officials say last fall’s efforts to combat the problem were negated by the harsh winter and heavy rains earlier this summer.
