Top Billing’s Tandy Rice Dies
Tandy Rice, 76, who helped shape the careers of artists including Dolly Parton, Porter Wagoner, and Tom T. Hall during the ‘70s through his Top Billing International agency, died Aug. 3 in Nashville.

Rice served on the board of directors for the Country Music Association for more than a decade including a stint as president, was an adjunct professor at Belmont University Mike Curb School of Music Business and started a scholarship fund at his alma mater, The Citadel.
He was honored as the first inductee into the Nashville Association of Talent Directors Hall of Fame in 2014.
