Brandon Flowers Can’t Make It
Brandon Flowers cancels a stretch of solo dates including Thursday’s show in Charlotte, N.C. A post on his Twitter page says his family needed him.

Along with Charlotte, The Killers frontman was also supposed to play Raleigh, N.C. (Aug. 14); Norfolk, Va. (Aug. 15); Atlanta (Aug. 17); Orlando, Fla. (Aug. 18) and Miami Beach, Fla. (Aug. 19).
This afternoon Flowers tweeted, “To the Southeastern stronghold, I am sorry I canceled on such short notice. Family needed me in LV. Everything is copacetic. –B.”
He’s due back on stage Aug. 29 for a set at Hellow Fest in Monterrey, Mexico. The festival’s Facebook page notes that Flowers’ set has not been canceled. Flowers’ next U.S. headline date is Sept. 2 in Oakland, Calif.
