NYPD Offers $2.5K Reward For Info On Rapper’s Shooting Death

Police are offering a $2,500 reward for information about the shooting death of a New York City rapper who was part of French Montana’s Coke Boys group.

Lionel Pickens, who performed as Chinx, was shot on May 17 as he sat in his Porsche at a red light with a friend.

Police said another car pulled up alongside and fired multiple times inside the Porsche.

The Daily News says the announcement of the NYPD reward was made Wednesday, a day before a documentary about the 31-year-old rapper was due to come out.

The film, set to air on Revolt TV, promises to shed new light on the unsolved murder.

Pickens’ debut album JFK is scheduled to be released on Friday.
