Trans-Siberian Orchestra On Track For Winter Fun
There is a new tale to tell on the upcoming tour. This year’s story is titled “The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve,” described as “the journey of a young runaway who, on Christmas Eve, breaks into an abandoned vaudeville theater seeking shelter from the cold, and the ghostly visions she experiences from that concert’s past.” Songs include “Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful,” “Christmas Canon” and “This Christmas Day.”
“‘The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve’ brings me back to TSO’s beginnings,” Trans-Siberian Orchestra creator/lyricist/composer Paul O’Neill said. “We recorded this TV show before TSO had ever toured and it was almost like our first show. It was filmed in a majestic old theatre in Jersey City and we got to work with the legendary Ossie Davis, Jewel and Michael Crawford. There was a magic we captured and I think that’s why it was so successful as a fundraiser for PBS.”
TSO will also have new music for its fans. Letters From The Labyrinth will arrive on Lava Records/Republic Records and is the group’s first full-length release since 2009’s Night Castle.
