Brad Paisley’s Country Nation College Tour

Brad Paisley announces a special run of dates made up of free shows at U.S. universities to coincide with the kick-off of the 2015 college football season.

The country star is a big fan of college football. Just take a listen to the newest single from Moonshine in the Trunk, “Country Nation,” which is poised to hit country radio Aug. 31 with an official airplay impact date of Sept. 14. The tune celebrates America’s passion for sports and name drops 18 college sports mascots.

Paisley, who has appeared as a celebrity guest picker on ESPN’s “College GameDay,” is once again serving as a spokesperson for “College Colors Day,” the nationwide event marking the new college football season.  

Four stops have been announced for Paisley’s “Country Nation College Tour,” with details on each show and additional university dates to be announced in the coming weeks. Presented by Zaxby’s, the outing begins during college football opening weekend with a show at Virginia Tech.  

Here’s the routing so far:

Sept. 6 – Blacksburg, Va., Virginia Tech. University            
Sept. 10 – Austin, Texas, University Of Texas
Sept. 11 – Waco, Texas, Baylor University   
Sept. 12 – Fayetteville, Ark., Univ. Of Arkansas

Eric Paslay appears as the special guest in Blacksburg. Texas native Pat Green appears in Austin. Comedy band The Raging Idiots – featuring Bobby Bones and Eddie from iHeartMedia’s “The Bobby Bones Show” – will be there Sept. 11 & 12.
