Paul McCartney Returns ‘Out There’

After playing Lollapalooza a few weeks ago, Paul McCartney’s next stop is Toronto in October. Today’s announcement marks the first new North American date on his “Out There” tour, which began in 2013.

The former Beatle is headed to Toronto’s Air Canada Centre Oct. 17 – his first gig at the venue since 2010. Since then he’s gotten remarried and released two new solo albums, 2012’s Kisses on the Bottom and 2013’s New. He also recorded his fifth classical album, 2011’s Ocean’s Kingdom, which was commissioned by the New York City Ballet for the score of the same-titled ballet.

The setlist for the “Out There” tour features material from New and tunes from throughout McCartney’s entire career.

Fans registered with McCartney’s website by Monday, Aug. 24 at 8 a.m. EDT will be eligible to purchase Toronto presale tickets.
