‘Neil Fest’ Set For NYC

Ryan Adams, Norah Jones, Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, Charles Bradley and Jakob Dylan are just a few of the artists gathering in New York City for a two-night tribute to Neil Young.

Presented by Best Fest, the outfit behind events such as Stones Fest, Dylan Fest and Petty Fest, Neil Fest happens Sept. 13-14 at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. Ticket sale proceeds will benefit the Sweet Relief Music Fund. The event’s sponsor is Jameson Irish Whiskey.

But we’ve only scratched the surface of the Neil Fest lineup. Also appearing will be Body/Head, Gaslight Anthem’s Brian Fallon, Nick Zinner from Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ruby Amanfu, Sharon Van Etten, Valerie June and many others. In total, Neil Fest will welcome more than 30 artists who will sing nothing but Neil songs during the two-night run.
