Toadies Announces Fall Tour

The latest album from Toadies, Heretics, includes new tunes along with “classic Toadies tracks deconstructed, re-arranged and re-imagined with acoustic guitar, mandolin, electric piano, bass & drums.” The LP is due out Sept. 18 via Kirtland Records.

A few days before that is the eighth edition of the band’s very own festival in its hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. The Sept. 11-12 Dia De Los Toadies features Sarah Jaffe, Local H, Burden Brothers and more.

“Being from Texas, and influenced and inspired by all things Texan, we wanted to go back to the roots of Texas Music,” drummer Mark Reznicek said. “The more laid back feel of our music on Heretics suits the vibe of these old wooden-floored dancehalls. It seems like a perfect fit.”

Toadies hits the road Oct. 21 in The Woodlands. Here’s the routing, with more dates to be announced:
