Gwinnett Now Infinite

Gwinnett Center near Duluth, Ga., is now the , thanks to a 20-year naming rights deal inked with the energy company and the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The 13,000-seat  becomes the Infinite Energy Arena, and the former Gwinnet Convention Center becomes the Infinite Energy Forum. The former is now Infinite Energy Theatre. The deal is worth $18 million, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The new branding is already reflected on the Center’s website, though signage won’t be replaced until fall. Eventual plans for the complex include adding seats to the arena, doubling the size of the convention center and adding a Marriott hotel, building a “black box” theatre, a lawn and pedestrian trails and improving traffic, according to the AJC.
