Lockn’ Cancels Today’s Performances
Organizers of the Lockn’ music festival in Arrington, Va., have canceled Thursday’s performances because of storm damage.
An announcement posted on the festival’s website says a severe thunderstorm with high winds on Wednesday evening damaged the festival grounds at Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, including the parking and campground area.
No one was injured.
The announcement says the campgrounds’ opening has been delayed.
The festival had been scheduled to open Thursday and run through Sunday.
Thursday performances were to include String Cheese Incident and the Doobie Brothers.
