Promoter Faces Murder Charge
The founder of the H2O electronic music parties in Boksburg, South Africa, faces trial for the alleged murder of ticket reseller Toufiq Joseph, who died outside a gas station in January.

It is alleged that David Forbes, who is also a consultant to Ultra Music Festival SA, shot Joseph in full view of customers. According to Africa News Agency, defense counsel Peter Mihalik said Forbes would plead self-defense and that Joseph threatened him with a knife.
Mihalik added that Forbes would plead not guilty to murder. It was expected that his case would be transferred at press time, with a trial date to be set. Forbes is out on R20,000 ($1,457) bail.
