Third Eye Blind’s Fall Plans

Third Eye Blind has more dates lined up as it continues supporting its first studio album in six years. After spending the summer doing a co-bill tour with Dashboard Confessional, Stephan Jenkins and the gang launch their own headline tour in October.

Dopamine was released in June, marking 3eb’s fifth full-length effort.  A few weeks ago the band put out a NSFW music video for the track “Get Me Out Of Here,” which was directed by Jenkins and stars Tara Perry. The video is described as a stylist nod to “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Look out for a cameo appearance by Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba.

“I think the idea behind my character being haunted by flashbacks and demonized by the ghost of a girlfriend past is that relationships are kind of a nightmare,” Jenkins said. “That this coincides with the 40th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show just feels so lucky as well.”

He added, “‘I’m Going Home’ has been our walk-out music every night for years and Tim Curry is a huge influence on me as a performer.”

After a handful of gigs in September and early October, the tour officially begins in Columbia, S.C. Here’s the plan:
