Brad Paisley Adds Free ‘Country Nation’ Concerts

As promised, Brad Paisley has added additional gigs to his “Country Nation College Tour.” Five more U.S. universities will be treated to free performances from the country singer.

Earlier this month the big-time college football fan put on free shows at four universities, attracting more than 65,000 fans.

The tour takes its name from Paisley’s new single, “Country Nation,” which celebrates blue-collar spirit and America’s love for sports. The song officially hit airwaves on Monday and is this week’s most-added new single at country radio. Check out the video below and look out for the appearance of more than two dozen college football mascots.

Paisley recorded a customized version of “Country Nation” that will be part of CBS Sports’ broadcast of “SEC Game of the Week” during the regular season.

Here are the new dates for the “Country Nation College Tour,” presented by Zaxby’s:

Oct. 8 – Tallahassee, Fla., Florida State University   
Oct. 9 – Auburn, Ala., Auburn University    
Oct. 10 – Winston-Salem, N.C., Wake Forest University     
Oct. 15 – Athens, Ga., University Of Georgia          
Oct. 16 – Columbia, S.C., Univ. of South Carolina / Columbia
