Lionel Richie Announces Las Vegas Residency

Lionel Richie stopped by the “Today” show this morning to announce he’s signed on for his own Las Vegas residency. The 20-date party at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino begins in April, with tickets going on sale this week.

During the “Today” appearance the multi-platinum-selling artist treated viewers to a performance of “Easy” from his days in the Commodores. As the name of the residency implies, “Lionel Richie – All The Hits” will be filled with other favorite Lionel Richie tunes. According to a press blast, the setlist will be made up Richie’s “brightest and best anthems, including ‘All Night Long,’ ‘Hello,’ ‘Stuck on You,’ ‘Say You, Say Me’ and ‘Dancing on the Ceiling.’
