United Stage Artist Opens London Office
Brian Lane, who’s managed artists such as Rick Wakeman, Yes, Asia, A-ha, Buggles, and Katherine Jenkins, has been named head of United Stage International, a new division of Swedish booking agency United Stage Artist.
He will be based in London along with Mel Westwood and Valerie Potter.
The partnership will see Lane develop and expand the agency’s roster opportunities worldwide. One of USI’s first projects is an exclusive, 10-year contract with UII in Dubai to present an annual music festival called Arabian Nights at the new, 2,000-capacity Dubai Opera House set to open in 2016.
The inaugural Arabian Nights, based on the White Nights Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia, is scheduled to debut in March 2017.
