Joe Satriani Takes You ‘Surfing To Shockwave’

Having released his first solo album – Not Of This Earth – in 1986, Satriani has plenty of reasons to celebrate.  The guitar maestro released 15th solo effort, Shockwave Supernova, in July. 

Borrowing a phrase from a 1014 Rolling Stone interview, Satriani’s camp is describing the tour as celebrating “30 years of mind-bending guitar daredevilry.”  The outing is expected to cover his entire career as well as include songs he hasn’t played in over two decades.
