Oct. 27 is when Musgraves will throw the switch resulting in the Opry’s well known barn backdrop turning pink for the evening.

But a change of color isn’t the only planned highlight.  Along with Musgraves, that night’s program will include performances by Terri Clark and Montgomery Gentry, plus others.

“We’re excited to mark our seventh year of ‘Opry Goes Pink,’ Opry VP/GM Pete Fisher said.  “What began as a partnership to put together a single show to raise funds and awareness to fight breast cancer has become an annual Opry tradition.  Like so many others out there, we at the Opry will not stop supporting this fight until not a single life is lost to breast cancer.”

Starting today, $5 from every ticket sold for the night’s 7 p.m. show will be donated to Women Rock For The Cure.  Follow this link for more information.
