Future

Future has been churning out hits since his major label debut in 2012, and the silky smooth Atlanta rapper’s agents at ICM Partners say he’s a hit on the road as well.

“The week of his album release, we planned four free shows for the fans in Atlanta, Chicago, N.Y. and L.A.,” Zach Iser told Pollstar. “At noon each day, we announced the venue for the show but by 10 a.m. the day of each show, there were hundreds of fans outside of all the major venues in that city. Then after the announcement, thousands of people showed up to get in line.  It was an incredible thing to watch and see how much he has grown.”

“L.A. was so out of control,” Caroline Yim added. “We had to move the show last minute from The Roxy to the House of Blues.”

Future released his DS2 album in July to critical and commercial acclaim, debuting at No. 1 on the Top 200 Albums Chart. Future continues to build buzz with a recent mixtape collaboration with Drake, and remains near the top of Pollstar’s latest Elite 50 Artists chart.

The story so far has been steady growth, according to Yim and Iser.

“Between management, Epic and us, we have been working together to ensure the right steps for Future’s touring these past three years,” Yim said.  “He understood the importance of balancing the independent nightclub date with hard-ticket tours, which allowed us to grow his touring business.

“Future really understands his fan base. He knows exactly how to work all different crowds.  His show is all hits with high energy and he really utilizes DJ Esco, who is now a fan favorite in his own right,” Yim added.

Iser says to expect more large clubs and theatres around the U.S. through December, “which will set him up to have a huge next summer” at festivals and amphitheatres.
