“Weird Al” Announces Australia/New Zealand Dates

The latest destinations on “Weird Al” Yankovic’s “Mandatory World Tour” will take your favorite accordion player to Australia and New Zealand.

“Weird Al” is continuing to support his 14th studio album, 2014’s Mandatory Fun – his first No. 1 album in the U.S. and the first comedy album to ever debut at the top of the Nielsen SoundScan albums chart.

The hilarious dose of weirdness, which picked up a Grammy Award for best comedy album, includes parodies of “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke, “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea, “Royals” by Lorde, “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons, and “Happy” by Pharrell Williams.

After a run of European dates in September and October, “Weird Al” closes out 2015 with appearances at Australia’s The Falls Music & Arts Festival. The trip Down Under continues with headlines dates in early January. Here’s the plan:
