Bluesfest Adds Jackson Browne, Tom Jones
One of Australia’s biggest festivals, Bluesfest in Byron Bay, announced sets by Jackson Browne, Noel Gallagher with his High Flying Birds and Tom Jones in its second round of artist announcements.

“I have been working with Tom and his management for many years to get him,” said festival director Peter Noble. Also added to the March 24-28 event are Steve Earle & The Dukes making their sixth visit to the festival, Jason Isbell, The Wailers, Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy, Grace Potter, music collective Nahko, and Medicine For The People.
Making their debuts are the The Decemberists, Sturgill Simpson, Lucky Peterson, Blackberry Smoke and Lord Huron, along with R&B band Vintage Trouble which has been touring with AC/DC. Among the international acts previously announced for Bluesfest are The National, Joe Bonamassa, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Shakey Graves, Allen Stone and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue.
