moe. adds a few

moe. co-founder / bassist Rob Derhak underwent a Pollstar interrogation Q&A earlier this afternoon.  Of course, we had to ask him about the band’s new dates and whether the shows are the first signs of a larger tour yet to be announced.

“That’s a meeting we have to have,” Derhak told Pollstar.  “In 2014 we played more than we had in, like, 10 years.  We played like crazy. We did tons of touring .. and it really kind of knocked us down, it kind of beat us up. So we decided for our 25th anniversary we’re going to take it easy and do it the way we want to enjoy it.  I personally feel ready to go back out and do some real touring.”

Keeping with its goal of working on weekends, moe. is staying busy through the rest of the year.  Remaining 2015 dates include Boston’s House Of Blues Oct. 9-10; Halloween weekend at The Fillmore in Philadelphia Oct. 30-31; and two shows at the Palace Theatre in Albany, N.Y., Dec. 31-Jan. 1.  And don’t forget about the Tropical Throe.down happening at the Jewel Paradise Cove Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica, Jan. 10-14.

Here’s what’s new:

Jan. 22 – Boulder, Colo., Boulder Theater
Jan. 23 – Denver, Colo., Ogden Theatre
Jan. 28 – Atlanta, Ga., Terminal West
Jan. 29 – Atlanta, Ga., The Tabernacle
Jan. 30 – Atlanta, Ga., The Tabernacle
