Tedeschi Trucks Band Tops ‘Sunshine’ Lineup

Tedeschi Trucks Band is set to headline the fourth annual happening in Florida in January.  The ticket also includes Indigo Girls, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and supergroup Hard Working Americans.

We wouldn’t blame you if you think Tedeschi Trucks Band has started receiving its mail via the Sunshine Music Festival.  The band led by the husband and wife team of Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks has performed on the traveling event every year since its 2013 inception.

The festival plays St. Petersburg’s Vinoy Park Jan. 16 and Boca Raton’s Mizner Park Amphitheatre Jan. 17.  The lineup also includes Hard Working Americans featuring Todd Snider, Dave Schools, Neal Casal, Chad Staehly, Duane Trucks and Jesse Aycock. Rounding out the lineup are Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, The Revivalists, The Jerry Douglas Band, Jorma Kaukonen, Bobby Lee Rodgers Trio and Joanne Shaw Taylor.
