The Cure In North America

Promising a 25-date run across North America, England’s The Cure teases fans by announcing shows on both coasts plus a stop in Chicago.

Tapping Scottish band The Twilight Sad for support, The Cure has locked in shows for Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.

It hasn’t been very long since Robert Smith & Co. last graced these shores.  In 2014 the band hit a few festivals, including BottleRock Napa Valley in Northern California and Riot Fests in Toronto, Chicago and Denver.

Now the band is planning a proper run across the continent.  Here are the first three dates to be announced:

May 22 – Los Angeles, Calif., Hollywood Bowl (presale begins Oct. 7 at 10 a.m.  Presale code is CUREBOWL)
June 10 – Chicago, Ill., UIC Pavilion (presale begins Oct. 8 at 10 a.m.  Presale code is thecure2016)
June 18 – New York, N.Y., Madison Square Garden (presale begins Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. Presale code is DISINTEGRATION)
