Get Up – Adams’ 13th studio album – was released in Australia/New Zealand Oct. 2. Featuring nine new songs and four acoustic versions, the LP is due out in the U.K. Oct. 23 and in the U.S. Oct. 30. It’s available to the rest of the world Oct. 16.

Adams once again worked with songwriting collaborator Jim Vallance on Get Up, which was produced by ELO frontman Jeff Lynne.

“It came together quite organically, song by song, working with Jeff producing over the past couple of years whenever he had time,” Adams said. “It was a great partnership as it gave me plenty of time to write the songs, most of which are a collaboration with Jim Vallance. We all worked primarily over the internet from Canada, Europe and LA, sending demos and parts of songs until we got it right.”
