isn’t saying much about its lineup other than to say it will feature Cuban artists as well as international stars.  The festival will occupy the Heredia complex and promises access to street carnivals, house parties, courtyards and “all the processions that give the city its musical soul” according to organizers.

Saying it has already been approved by the Cuban government, Manana has teamed with underground events organizer Hydra: Electric Minds, No-Nation and Sofrito as well as DMZ founder Mala, Puerto Rico’s IFE, Cuban drummer Galis and Santiago rumba masters Obba Tuke.

The festival is utilizing Kickstarter and says it will limit international ticket sales at 500 to ensure that organizers “preserve a personal atmosphere.”  Go to MananaCuba.com for more details.
