3 LN Venues Get O2 Academy Branding

The venues, acquired recently in the LN-Gaiety acquisition of MAMA and Company, will be known as O2 Institute Birmingham, O2 Forum Kentish Town and O2 Ritz Manchester.

The deal makes a total of 19 venues sharing the branding partnership with Live Nation.

LN UK COO Paul Latham said: “For the last eight years, our work with O2 has pioneered the way brands work within the music sector.

“Together, we have provided an extremely valuable proposition to fans of live entertainment, and we look forward to adding these fantastic venues on board to deliver an even greater fan experience.”

The announcement appears to confirm the news that Latham would take over as Live Nation UK’s COO, following the departure of John Probyn.
