Phil Collins Autobiography To Be Published In 2016
Against all odds, Phil Collins has decided to write an autobiography.
The former Genesis drummer and 1980s icon is one of pop music’s best-selling artists, with hits including “In the Air Tonight” and “Against All Odds.”
Collins said in a statement Monday that he had been asked several times to write a memoir “but never felt that the time was right – until now.”
The seven-time Grammy Award winner promised to tell his life story “warts and all.”
The as-yet-untitled book will be published in October 2016 by Century in Britain and Crown Archetype in the U.S. Both are owned by Penguin Random House, which holds global rights.

Crown Archetype editorial director Tricia Boczkowski said the “unflinchingly honest” memoir would reveal “a Phil Collins that not many people know.”
