Robin Trower Rocks America In 2016

Robin Trower returns to the U.S. for a spring run launching in Fort Lauderdale in late March.  Destinations for the guitar maestro include Atlanta, Nashville, Boston and Niagara Falls.

Trower’s career is one to marvel at.  Signing on with Procol Harum  in 1967, Trower played on five albums by the iconic English band before leaving to begin his own solo career in 1971.  Within only a few years songs like “Too Rolling Stoned” and “Day Of The Eagle” became staples on then-newly emerging FM rock stations.  The 40th anniversary of the release of Trower’s 1974 album, Bridge Of Sighs, was marked by several celebrations and the LP remains a benchmark for young guitar slingers to aspire to.

Trower’s latest release is his 2015 album Something’s About To Change.  Produced by Livingstone Brown at Studio 91 in Newbury, England, the disc continues Trower’s love for the bluesy rock he cut his teeth on and marks the first time he ever played bass on a record.

There is a new album on the horizon.  Trower will release Where Are You Going To in March.

Piloting his own power trio, Trower will be joined by Richard Watts on bass and vocals and Chris Taggart behind the drums.  Here are the dates:
