Diggin’ Bonnie Raitt in 2016

Arriving Feb. 26 on Redwing Records, Dig In Deep is Raitt’s 20th album –  the latest in a line that began with her 1971 self-titled LP and includes her No. 1 1989 album Nick Of Time and 1991’s Luck Of The Draw.  You can bet that Raitt will serve up a generous helping of Dig In Deep during her 2016 travels.

“So much of the album is focused on what I want to do live,” Raitt said.  “I write and pick these songs so we can nail them on stage.”

You can preorder Dig In Deep beginning Nov. 6.

Backing Raitt on the shows will be her longtime touring band which also accompanied her on Dig In Deep.  Longtime fans will recognize James “Hutch” Hutchinson on bass; Ricky Fataar on drums and George Marinelli on guitar.  Keyboardist Mike Finnigan has been playing with Raitt since he joined her on the 2012-13 Slipstream tour.
