Denver’s Globe Hall Opening

Globe Hall will feature a 200-capacity venue expected to host everything from reggae to bluegrass, alt country, indie rock, blues and tejano artists, plus a Texas-style barbecue restaurant and a patio.
Owner Jeff Cornelius plans to keep many of the architectural details of the historic building original, telling the local Westword he’s “always wanted to run a dive bar” and hopes Globe Hall will be a space for “the democratizing of food – music and food and getting to know your neighbors.”
Cornelius previously worked for Feld Entertainment and Radio City Music Hall, the paper noted.
Plans are reportedly in the works to bring national touring acts to the venue. Upcoming shows on the books include Jah Kings, Bison Bone, Bear Antler, and Spellbinder and The International Dub Squad.
