Charlie Dick Dies
Charlie Dick, 81, the widower of Patsy Cline who served as her road manager and, later, a champion of her music in her absence, died Nov. 8 in Nashville.

Dick worked in promotions at Starday Records following Cline’s death in 1963, according to the Tennessean.
He also helped ensure Cline’s legacy and estate were protected through reissues of her music and films such as the 1985 biopic, “Sweet Dreams.”
