It would be an understatement to say fans have been clamoring for a new ELO release, especially since Lynn performed a stunning headlining set at BBC Radio 2’s “Festival In A Day” in Hyde Park in 2014.  ELO’s catalog is a tremendous collection of monster hits like “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Evil Woman,” “Can’t Get It Out Of My Head,” “Don’t Bring Me Down” and “Turn To Stone.”  Heck, you’d probably have to search the far corners of the universe to find any intelligent life that hasn’t heard ELO.

Lynne’s ELO arrives with a new album.  Alone In the Universe has made fans of the band very happy.  Mojo gave the album four stars while Q praised the disc as “just about perfect.”  As he did on previous ELO albums, Lynne served as producer, songwriter, arranger, lead singer and guitarist on Alone In The Universe.
